Vidyan Jatra

The organization has undertaken many constructive programs considering the student at the centre. With the view that the student’s interest in science should increase , they should turn to research and new scientist should develop , the charitable organization Environmental Forum of India ,Baramati ,decided to implement programs related to science .Approximately 1.5 lakh students, Parents and teachers had visited these exhibitions. The objective behind these programs was to give information to the students through various means and to increase their interest in Science.In these exhibition ,different programs were organized such as film show, Discussions with famous Scientists ,Practical Knowledge of flying aero planes through Aero-modeling demonstration information about Science through Puppet show, Explaining Science by the magic show, introducing new technology through 3D films ,etc. Students got a chance to know about new experiments. The students bought a new books from the book exhibition. They also enjoyed the different games and the food festival along with their parents .the student also gained knowledge of new technology marvel as they watched the splendid laser show. The aim of the exhibition was that students should able to get more knowledge in one place and their interest in subject should also increase. The main objective of the state level science Exhibition was ‘Conservation of the environment for sustaining the society ’.The president of environmental forum of India ,Mrs. Sunetratai Pawar took up the leadership for acquiring the responsibility for hosting the exhibition in Baramati through ‘Vidya Pratishthan’ and ‘Environmental forum of India ’


Noteworthy Accomplishment by Project Meghdoot

The environmental forum of India in collaboration with the environment department of Maharashtra ,undertook the project of removing the silt ,sludge and weeds from the dams and thus come into existence the ‘project Meghdoot’ which was further accomplished in the year 2011-2012.In the rural areas, in the summer season the scarcity of water is experienced . Due to negligence certain weeds like water Hyacinth , and other aquatic plants tend to grow profusely which hampers the storage of water and the water is polluted by toxic substances .In order to overcome the growing menace of algae and toxins ,Project Meghdoot has taken measures to curb their growth . The 1st step in this project was that of removing the weeds , algae and increasing the depth of the percolation dams was taken up in the village of Baramati taluka namely tardoli,Loni Bhapkar , siddhewar Nimbodi, Shrisuphal , Morewadi, Murti and Morgaon.


Rural World Entrepreneurship Forum

The 1st rural Entrepreneurship forum conference was organized on 5th and 6th july 2013 in Baramati, with the view of bringing the rural and urban entrepreneurs together and to pave the way of sustainable rural development .The ‘Rural World entrepreneurs forum’ was established in collaboration with the ‘Environmental forum of India ’ and ‘The world entrepreneurs forum’. The 1st international conference of the forum took place in Baramati during this period .there is notable number of entrepreneurs in the rural areas who create new and useful instruments with their own innovation .The main objective behind organizing this conference was to provide a platform to such entrepreneurs , while at the same time ,their innovations should reach to the entrepreneurs working in the same field , on a global level .The conference tried to bridge the gap between the rural and the urban entrepreneurs, to increase co-operation between them , and also to increase avenues for global import-export in the future . There are a lot of business opportunities in the rural areas , which need to be identified in addition to the mutual co-operation for rural enterprises, and ultimately rural development should be achieved. This is the motive behind the organizing this conference .this international conference was inaugurated on 5th July at 9.00 a. m. in the presence of former Agriculture minister hon. Mr. Sharadchandraji Pawar ,Former deputy chief Ajitdada Pawar. MLA Mrs.Supriyatai, Advocate Ujjwal Nikam .This day was especially important in the history of forum. Eminent personalities such as Hon. Mr. Sharadchandraji Pawar ,Former deputy chief Ajitdada Pawar. MLA Mrs.Supriyatai, Advocate Ujjwal Nikam were present together on the platform of forum on account of this conference. The award winners of the ‘World entrepreneurs Forum ’Sir Abed ,Shrimati Ela Bhatt ,the Co-President of the ‘World entrepreneurs forum ’ in France Prof. Tugrul Atamar and Indrajit singh ,the president of Cambridge Global Partner Dr. Nikhil Agarwal were also present for the inauguration ceremony .The members of this conference also visited Katewadi ,which is famous as an Eco-village and various factories in Baramati area. In this two days conference ,there were discussions on Education, Charitable trusts ,Corporate , Agriculture ,Rural Entrepreneurship, etc.


Mrudgandha

Mrudagandhal science Exhibition should take place in Baramati under the able guidance of deputy chief minister of Maharashtra hon. Ajitdada Pawar . The main objective of the state level science Exhibition was ‘Conservation of the environment for sustaining the society ’.The president of environmental forum of India ,Mrs. Sunetratai Pawar took up the leadership for acquiring the responsibility for hosting the exhibition in Baramati through ‘Vidya Pratishthan’ and ‘Environmental forum of India ’ was kept before the state government. The senior officers of the state government visited Baramati and gathered information about the facilities available in Baramati and then gave their consent for hosting the exhibition in Baramati.
