Soil is one of the important five elements of life. It is said that our culture is rooted in our soil and to revive our culture we must be bounded to our soil. The childhood games played have persistence of memories thought the life. For making the new generation aware of the tradition and to keep it alive, Environmental forum of India organized an event called Matitlya Khelanchi Jatra (Traditional games played on soil/Ground. This involved all the local traditional games like Marvels, Vitti-Dandu, Lagori, etc. To our surprise, it was an overwhelming response and enjoyed not only by kids but also by parents.
